Honestly just be upfront with them. Tell them you don’t want your first relationship to be online and you don’t really feel the same it’s not impossible for a ldr to work out but most people can’t live without physical touch (myself included) so if ur one of them then step back from this situation while you still can

I agree with lotuscrisps said in this thread, if you still wanna be friends you can hint at being taken already (even if it's a lie, since you haven't seen each others faces I'm assuming it's unlikely you're close enough that they would ever find out the truth)
