OG fujos - how did bl change over the years?
Im fairly new to bl (i started reading last year december) since my friend wanted to show me some stories and see if I’d like them. I asked her how long had she’d been into bl and said since she was in grade school. crazy i know.
im only asking this question on mangago since i want to hear about what bl used to be like and how it possibly changed over the past years especially since the pandemic.
How has bl changed and how has it stayed the same?
Art used to be more angular. Its much softer now. There's also less flowers on emotional panels but I think that goes for all manga lmao. To be honest with the rise of manhwa and these ultra long quickly produced stories, the overall quality of bl has dropped. There's still a lot of good stuff being made but there is just SO MUCH of it. I just wish...... 2 reply
