Express your opinion about bl

I think bl authors get away with a lot of bad, lazy writing and we should have higher standards for the media we consume. So many of these top rated ones have cardboard cut outs for protagonists, but somehow they always manage to break what little character they have. I hate that majority of the popular BL on this website and other platforms are just borderline filled with problematic stuff that the author themselves & readers are romanticizing in some format.   reply

im sorry, but a lot of bl that's being released now is ass. give me the 2019-2023 bl, it was peak. nobodys doing cool shit anymore with the stories/plot and it sucks.   5 reply

I don't think I have any right to speak since I only purchase novels but most of bls nowadays are filled with rape, abuse, cheating, and among those lines. Before, I use to read anything but nowadays I've realized what have I been reading haha. 85% of bls are filled with doom and gloom for no reason, I don't get it, does the authors get off of that......   1 reply

I wish most high school BL were set in college instead it's just so unrealistic for some high school kids to be fucking the way they do in some of these mangas now I am a teenager but it still makes me a little uncomfortable   1 reply
