I think bl authors get away with a lot of bad, lazy writing and we should have higher standards for the media we consume.
So many of these top rated ones have cardboard cut outs for protagonists, but somehow they always manage to break what little character they have. The plot is repetitive, uses cheap tricks to create artificial tension like dum...... 1 reply
