I have read my fair share of action manga/manhwa and have prayed that there would be no "annoying bitches" prior to reading a new title. Sometimes though, there's a pretty fun and/or well-written romance, and people still complain about the woman???? I'm genuinely confused. I get not wanting romance at all, but sometimes I just can't wrap my head around which romances people dislike. What exactly do people look for in a romance in titles where romance isn't the main draw?
I like romance but it adds an unpredictable variable to a story. Often stories written for the male demographic don’t properly write FLs. Even if the FL is okay, ship wars can ruin a canon couple.
Lastly, the expectations for FLs are higher. She can’t be weak. She can’t be annoying. She can’t be dumb. She can’t have trauma. She can’t ...... reply
