Do you guys ever subtly try to bring up your birthday is soon whenever it comes around bc you dont expect people to remember but also want them to know bc you'll feel alittle bit sad if they remember other people's birthdays but not yours, esp cause you view them as close friends even tho they provably dont consider you the same
My birthday was in August and this was exactly how I felt. I always remember and wish people happy birthday most of the time but I always want to be low-key cos I can't tell them myself that it's my birthday, I expect them to know and greet me but at the same time I'm not expecting any greetings cos somehow I'm always giving and never receiving.
