Do you guys ever subtly try to bring up your birthday is soon whenever it comes around bc you dont expect people to remember but also want them to know bc you'll feel alittle bit sad if they remember other people's birthdays but not yours, esp cause you view them as close friends even tho they provably dont consider you the same
i never did that, but i can sympathize feeling a little bit sad if people you considered friends dont remember your birthday. in middle school, i didnt like the fact that other people can possibly hurt me just because of my birthday -- quite frankly, it's kind of pathetic. so i had to do a lot of self-work to stop attaching the importance of my bir...... reply
