What are some plot device's you're quickly growing tired of?
I hate when authors make the mc get assaulted/stalked/have their lives put in danger just so the love interest can come and be their white knight, and after that the mc is never affected by the traumatic event they went through they just move on, i just finished reading a story i overall liked but that had the mc be almost assaulted and MURDERED and right after he went and had sex with the ml c'mon now
- the rich abusive/ psychopathic ml and the poor gullible and innocent mc that doesn't get traumatized, is a saint and forgives anything the ml does to him.
- as u said, the nonexistent trauma of the mc in rape/ assault scenarios ( which are sometimes just there for the ml to save the mc, unless it's the ml inflicting it on the mc )
