I think it's because live action shows kinda suck. I was watching a Chinese romance and I could not watch past 2 episodes because of how unbearable the guy was. If I read the book of the show first then I probably wouldn't have so much of a reaction. I think seeing people act it out ruins the fun of a romance story since we want it to be fake. reply
