I usually just draw something or do a simple paper craft, I'd rather spend time than money and it's what I'm used to doing, though I don't have that much time anymore so I also just end up buying stationary/a small thing I know they'll like as well.
There's a lot of tutorials on yt as well for craft/origami ideas and other things. reply
