Older manga readers are built different
Met a person who started reading mangas from 2010 and y'know we went down the back in my days talk and then I told that i started in 2017 and all the "peak" in question were just filled with rape and noncon and he looked straight in my eyes and said "you started after the filters. I didn't" and began saying that like people are lucky to have so many fluff mangas/hwa and yet they read the worst thing and complain back then everything was worse and we'd have to like search for some normal ones
Old internet and media was insane. In general we kinda traded out ability to access highly disagreeable content BUT having more freedom of expression and speech for regulation and easy access to quality content (at the expense of all of it being controlled and censored by malicious corporate monopolies)
