Question for everyone, and it’s about your parents.
Does your dad help your mom with household chores? Does he at least take care of himself,like washing his own clothes or does your mom have to do everything for him? In my house, my mom literally has to take care of three grown ass children: my father and my two grown ass brothers. From washing their underwear,to ironing their clothes to serving them food no matter how tired she is, to washing their plates after they eat ,she does it all.She expects me to do the same too simply because I’m a woman.My family is very conservative,we’re Muslim, so that’s kind of a given but I still find it unfortunate.
What about y’all? How is it in your homes? I’m curious.
This question is for the married folks too do y'all do all that for your husbands too? Ot does your husband help in house chores or atleast take care of himself?
my mom does most big meals and kitchen clean-up but my dad often makes soup or sometimes breakfast for the fam;; my mom also does handle everything with the dogs;; my dad handles house fix-ups, lawn care, car stuff, snow salt/shovel, taxes, and occasional dishwashing;; and i think he mostly runs his own laundry and ironing, but sometimes my mom run...... reply
