Is it weird that irl I'm more into women than men, but I consume only yaoi and just one or two yuris.
For a long time i've identified as a lesbian, even then i only used to consume yaoi and I even had a girlfriend(ex). It was until I got a bf(ex) I realised I'm bi but unwillingly. So basically my type in women is just women I admire which is most women, and my type in men is twinks.
So my question is what does it say about me that, even though being mostly attracted to women, I only consume yaoi?
My diagnosis is that, the way I read yaoi is kind of like objectification of men, and I just don't see women in the same light, so I don't read yuri, but I might be wrong.
But listen WOMEN TURN ME ON alright, just not fictional ones.
So someone please tell me what the fuck is wrong w me? Because I couldn't find no one like me on the internet. I feel like a fake woman lover but I'M NOT. Women make go oogaa boogaa OKAYYY.

darling, nothing is wrong with u. this societal labels confuse us sometimes
omg no way there's someone who's the same... I was in the same situation and I turned out to be bi as well. now, this is strictly about me so don't take it to heart and remember I'm on your side with this, because I used to reject the idea of liking real men and being turned on by women only... however, later in life I discovered that I actually do like men too, not only fictional ones. ik how this feels but you should know - YOU ARE NOT ALONE GIRLL
The biphobia got to us babes but not anymore. Biphobia and men in general that made me reject the Idea that I might be attracted to men as well.
Girl, listen. You’re unwillingly bi, yeah, but women are still the main event. Twinks exist, fine, but they’re a footnote, not the thesis. Who you’re into in real life and what you read are not the same thing. You like women, period. Yaoi just works for your brain because fictional men don’t make you compare yourself or feel watched, they’re just there. Women in fiction hit too close to home, so it kills the vibe. That doesn’t make you fake or confused. It just means your attraction and your media taste live in different lanes. You’re into women IRL, selectively into men, and the internet just hates nuance.ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
