hihi. very silly topic and question but i....am tired of being a lurker. i don't know much about the social/forums on here but i've been using this website for one trillion years, it feels like. what's it like being active? what is it like having a space to talk about bl/manga with fellow fujoshi?? ^^; and maybe what can i do to be better at it.... ╥﹏╥

It's a cesspool. Very cliquey, some users think they own it and take advantage of other users here. But ig if you wanna talk about something interesting, you should do it nevertheless. Unreasonable, insecure people are everywhere, even outside mggo. If you want to carve out your space, go for it anyway. 1 reply
I really enjoy forums even though it can get toxic and mindless drama and ragebaiters are rampant. There is some really nice people on here and i love the community, you just gotta choose who you associate with wisely because some ppl turn out to be weird. Other than that its a lot of fun and sometimes theres some really interesting questions that ...... reply
As someone who only interacts on mgg but have no connection to other users, is very entertaining ig. Somehow everyone has some type of relationship here so you usually see a lot of inside jokes or interactions from random groups of users between eachother
Idk about having a space to talk about BL tho, forums is usually just random slop. Even if BL...... reply
let me be real here. if you're an actively engaging chronically online mgg forums user then you're prob chasing after some sort of validation at a certain point, whether you'd wanna admit it or not. staying on here for too long does shit to you 1 reply
I can relate, I use mangago since forever, back when I was a teenager...I'm 31 now, oooooold, but, still addicted and I never engage much, I do reply some comments and leave some comments but, other than that, just lurking around...there are some really funny and cool people here and also weirdos, but we get those everywhere nowadays. reply
