Ig this is more for long time users but does it feel like there are more morally uptight users in this site now or has it always been like this?
Ik mggo has a reputation for housing degens from others mention of the site and ig cus of the popular manga on here but it doesn’t really seem to be the case cus i keep seeing comments on manga complaining on problematic tropes, not that there’s anything wrong with fatigue bc i get it but its a little annoying to see it every time.
The only thing this "don't like it dont read" "it's just fiction" "it's not that deep" opinions have done is make it impossible to actually have discussions about important issues such as racism in fictionthis is me bringing up how orientalism is bad and shouldn't be used not even in porn because it's racist and this how your lovely "anti censorshi...... 2 reply

i dont mind comments addressing problematic tropes in what i read. i always take them as criticism of the story itself rather than a personal attack, which is what some if the adults in this site should do instead of calling everyone puriteens or some shit. otherwise, i just simply roll my eyes when a comment/"criticism" looks like its typed by som...... reply
Your brain is a beautiful thing that can be programmed to do and believe anything. If your brain notices that you consume topics like rape, pedo, incest, etc. as entertainment, it connects those actions to pleasure. You can talk all you want about "seperate fiction from reality", but without criticizing those actions in media that is showing them a...... reply
I've been on this side for a long time and i'm pretty sure people still called out problematic troupes back then, just not as much as now I guess I think.
