What type of anime adaptations do you guys like more? A faithful one or a experimental one?
I enjoy faithful adaptations but a lot of experimental adaptations have surpassed the source material and i think it should be something at least thought of when adapting mangas. Anime as a medium allows for things that manga doesn't and vice versa so i think the best adaptation is something that can be both faithful to the plot but somewhat its own thing
I kinda want to see what they were trying to do with Tokyo Ghouls season two with kaneki joining aogiri tree but properly
I feel that could have been a good season if they leaned into the experimental side of it
The way they went about it was ddg(doo doo garbage) and they could have did better with cleanly transitioning in re reply
