In Search of Clarity
So I am graduating from High School after few months but I have this question… How do you guys even decide what you want to do in the future?The career path? Like… how does that thought come to you? I genuinely don’t get it. My friends all seem to have their minds set, and then there’s me…completely confused. I want to do so many things, but the reality is we’re supposed to choose just one
i just picked whatever major is needed in every company. if your parents are not swimming in money, be realistic. go browse thru job portals and see what field is hiring. reply
Honestly idk. I feel like I know exactly what I want to do so I might not be able to help much but maybe go to a technical college? Theres a bunch of courses you can take there and it’s not super academic based so I feel like that might be fun until you decide on a path to take, and if not, thats ok!!! Please think hard about college. Was a waste of money and time for me. I went to a single adult ed welding class, and got hired as a metal fabricator. Now I make decent money, more than what I went to college for. Definitely look into the trades. Its also the perfect job for ADHD. Did I want to do it? No. Did I discover i loved it? Yes. reply

well just go for a major that encompasses most of the things you enjoy. you don't have to pick the specific job you want until later unless it's super specialized ofc. on the bright side you should be happy you have so much you're passionate about I'm over halfway through uni with a major I enjoy, but with no idea what I wanna do reply
personally, i just went pursuing finance bc the problem-solving questions in economics and accounting were fun, and bc other subjects didn't interest me enough to consider a career out of it
