Any transmen/transmasc that went through the pipeline of liking yaoi to becoming the yaoi itself?

I surely prefer reading and watching yuri nowadays, but back then I was really obsessed with yaoi. I then discovered that I was a trans years later and dated a guy before I eventually broke up with him a year ago. It's quite ironic lol. Anyone out there that can relate?
