how tf do you make friends in your 20's
HOw do you guys actually make friends once you're out of school? i’m trying to expand my circle a bit more for.. reasons :/ and I just realized this is way harder than high school. IN school, you're just "there." now? I feel like I'm doing a job interview just to get a drink with someone
im trying to befriend this quiet girl at work I noticed we have the same interests she stands out in a way cuz she's always alone idk i feel kind of bad like im interrogating her she only gives one word answers
then there are the loud social people who are all buddy-buddy and joke with you in the office, but they're actually pretty distant. they already have their own circles and no one is letting new people in. TT__TT
theres someone who I talk with daily just a surface level kind of friendship but um just found out (last Thurs) they were racist and anti trans soo..

also might turn to make internet friends if TS doesn't work out idk but I'll keep trying???
Ask them what they do outside of work and see if you have similar hobbies. Maybe try getting together for a movie, it's low pressure for a hangout since you'll have something to discuss afterward (the movie you watched) and you mainly just pay attention to the movie when you're in the theater. reply

I honestly don't know how to answer your question but if you really want to have a real friend out of school, you have to continue getting to know more people. Don't stop until you found your people but make sure not lose your boundaries and self respect. reply
hmmmmm it's difficult to get friends at work because you know at that time people already have their own circle...if just talk buddy maybe yes just like you said,,,has the same interest... beside that maybe just be goofy lol...i remember i make friends during internship with another intern (that's because we the only intern lol) but i just let out ...... reply
Mine is joining onsite groups/Small gatherings like dancing, arts, and even anime events. Idk what it's called in English but yeah
I joined plenty of groups to just have fun at first once I get comfortable I'll try to make friends.
I especially like the DnD groups/Cosplay group. We exchange numbers/discord.
