The old church that my family used to go to kicked out two members of the church purely because they performed in a band to earn money, since they didn’t have a place to go. But the pastor of our former church still kicked them out because what they were doing was supposedly "worldly" for them to belong in the church. Which i find stupid because its not like they're the one suporting those two, its not like they're the ones giving them a shelter to stay at..
You know a pastor once touched me inappropriately as a 8-12 year old child inside a church but I didn’t understand what that was only that I felt uncomfortable, the adults always taught me that pastors praise the god thus they are good so I never told anyone 2 reply

all religion is kind of in the same place. they value a unknown being in the sky that they cant see more than a human being infront of them.
since i live in a muslim country, ive seen them acting like that despite them following a so called "peaceful religion". lgbtq activist got stabbed to death along with his friend back in 2016. 1 reply
As a christian, I would say blame the individuals who use christianism as a way to control, abuse and villainise people by using the word of God. As a christian we are taught to love, forgive and help, not judge. You can't just generalise an entire religion just like that. Follower of Jesus Christ here! You’re absolutely right! Christians—along with every single person on earth—are biased towards or against people and actions depending on what notions, theisms or ideologies they ascribe to; this is nothing new.

I fear it's the fault in the community or the wrong teaching they've learn(the chruch i mean). As a Christian who's not really adhere to god words, not that religious but still sometimes read bible, went to weekly mass and find comfort in him.
