The old church that my family used to go to kicked out two members of the church purely because they performed in a band to earn money, since they didn’t have a place to go. But the pastor of our former church still kicked them out because what they were doing was supposedly "worldly" for them to belong in the church. Which i find stupid because its not like they're the one suporting those two, its not like they're the ones giving them a shelter to stay at..
Follower of Jesus Christ here! You’re absolutely right! Christians—along with every single person on earth—are biased towards or against people and actions depending on what notions, theisms or ideologies they ascribe to; this is nothing new.
