The old church that my family used to go to kicked out two members of the church purely because they performed in a band to earn money, since they didn’t have a place to go. But the pastor of our former church still kicked them out because what they were doing was supposedly "worldly" for them to belong in the church. Which i find stupid because its not like they're the one suporting those two, its not like they're the ones giving them a shelter to stay at..
all religion is kind of in the same place. they value a unknown being in the sky that they cant see more than a human being infront of them.
since i live in a muslim country, ive seen them acting like that despite them following a so called "peaceful religion". lgbtq activist got stabbed to death along with his friend back in 2016. 1 reply
