the reasons for yuri/wlw media not getting enough attention as much as yaoi?
my personal opinion is that i feel like it's because there is not much variety of tropes in yuri as it is in bl, and also creators not choosing to create more yuri because most of its audience prefer yaoi. not saying they are the ONLY audience, but the majority. i honestly feel like if yuri had alot more variety of tropes, it could become far more popular
I don't think it's misogyny. When I was around my teens, I prefer Yaoi because it allows me to be more expressive and experimental. I was able to take out myself in the situation allowing me to separate fiction and reality. I don't know if it made sense to you, but taking out a woman in the scene for me allows me to dig into more dark scenarios reg...... 1 reply
