Isn’t it super boring?
Is it just me or is anyone else getting really tired of the “super overpowered” MC trope? Like at a certain point it just gets so repetitive, like oh man I wonder if they’re going to win again? For the thousandth time? Definitely not the only one. I feel the same even though I’m a sucker for overpowered mc’s, but most of the time I think it gets tiring because it isn’t written well; nothing captivating, nothing meaningful, unfavorable art, and boring plot. reply
It CAN be good when done right like in Demon slayer or Naruto we see the MC’s progress and become better and they loose battles which makes their soon to be OP status feel like a reward or like in L.A.G where the MC starts off as relatively OP (compared to everyone else) but the plot makes up for it and genuinely explains and gives a good reason ...... reply
