When did being "woke" become bad??
Like why is it used as an insult now just cus someone called out a certain problematic shit. I remember when the Superman movie came out and it was "woke" cus it showed basically what's happening in Palestine at the time calling out corrupt and shit government and manipulative media. You see people in this site use "woke" as an insult cus u shitted on their child porn. Im hella confused. Cause it's supposed to be good. Extreme activism exist, I can see how sometimes it can go bad and it's just purity culture however that's not even that common. People just say this shit to you when you hate the story for romanticizing rape and hate on a literal abusive ML.
What woke means now is kind of for people I guess operating within a specific demographic I feel, it's like the people who are protesting against Trump bombing the leader of Iran versus the Iranian women celebrating(another example for explanation is people saying that they're going to cut out all products and services that are Israel related.
