I rather read in an illegal site if im being honest, because imagine spending money on a manwha only for it to turn out like shit, is such a waste, so i rather read it illegally if the manga/manwha is good then ill go to the authors page see if she/he have some mearch or the official physical copy of the manga/manwha itself then purchase it not only did i not waste my money i also help the author
I get why pirating is demonized, but also by demonizing pirating people are also saying that poorer people don't deserve entertainment, so never listen to the anti piracy nonsense. Artists deserve love and support, but also more often than not with apps like webtoon and Spotify, they don't pay their artists properly, especially not the lesser known...... 1 reply
I pay for the stuff I like because I have the means to do that, and I want to support the creator to make more of it. but definitely with bl and other things, I'll take every opportunity to try before I buy. if the prevalence of certain tropes and themes is partly caused by market demand for them, I'll be sure to ensure that I'm not contributing to...... reply
