I don't enjoy BL as an art form
I'd like to admit that I consume typical slop BLs with genric storylines, not the ones people claim to be very good with character depth and everything. It's not like I don't enjoy a good story. But BL is not the platform where I search for good stories guys. I'm sorry. I just come here for the porn and maybe very rarely read something with a bit of good plot.

BL is like fast food for me... I don't really enjoy it but it's easy to access & quick to consume so I read a lot of it. I don't particularly respect it or expect much from it. I don't think it's something you should feel bad about. sometimes I also fixate on bl, but even when reading gl, hetero or poli sometimes I want a complex story with real characters and a strong lead other times I want something simple/silly to unwind, something sweet or angsty to defrost my heart or just simple smut 'cause why not.
