Yeah... when you're an immature kid exposed to a lot of content you shouldn't read, you're bound to get messed up in the head when you mature... and that's exactly what happened to me lol. Used to exclusively read only BLs and GLs, no matter how shitty or boring or straight-up toxic they were.
Then my frontal lobe developed and I stopped reading BLs, now I only read peak GLs and shounen/seinen mangas. Even with them though, as soon as they start getting boring or annoying or incorporate some weirdo shit into the plot I easily drop t...... reply
Definitely. I USED to hate any queer fiction back in 2018-2020, I exclusively read shoujo, shounen, and seinen. After I decided to come out of the closet, I'm having fun with GL and BL.
Still read shounens or seinens occasionally, but shoujo? Not that much, I haven't read shoujo romance for aabout a year or two now. reply
