ONLY (FEMALE) ADULTS:
Hi, as a women (30) i have been struggling with this situation for a long time, how do u dispose of a pad(Period pad)?.
I have been taught to clean the blood out and dry and burn it, or just burn it while the blood is there(not recommended usually). Like my family don't want the pads to be just disposed at the bin.
they want it gone entirely so nobody fucking does some Balck magic with it or smt.
The main problem now is the pads I have has an like when wet it produces like tiny balls ???so It really hard to dispose them like that.
I was wondering you all also do this? If not how would you dispose it? Please I am going insane why the fuck we women have this.
First time seeing a question like this in forum but the right website to ask because most of the online users here are female lol.(Me) I threw them in bin like cover them in newspaper. I don't know about burning tho.( ̄∇ ̄") 2 reply
Do not burn! The chemicals in them are awful. I wrap mine in a thorough toilet paper bundle. Or perhaps switch to tampons, they arnt as uncomfortable as you may think. But youd still need to wrap the inserter. Especially once you get used to them. Had to switch to tampons cus my period always started at Conventions. 1 reply
Pull that thang out of my underwear, roll it up like a blunt, shove it in the small amount of packaging pads come with, and throw it into the trash.
First time hearing of washing a non reusable pad to avoid black magic. Nobody is jobless enough to scavenge through piles of communal trash to look for my pad and do all that imo. 2 reply
Seems like u grew up in a south asian household like me, my mother told me to wash out my pads too. I always just ignored her and threw them out in paper bags into the trash, if u dont like to keep them inside the house then just throw them in the outside bins. 1 reply
You can use a menstrual cup. Totally zero waste. You have no worry anymore about product disposal after being used. The blood can be disposed in the toilet, no one ever able to have access if you worry about witchcraft.

In Canada, most pads come in a plastic wrapper. I think most people here roll up the old pad, wrap it in the wrapper and then toss it in the bin. Our disposable pads are generally made from synthetic materials and absorbent gels, so I don’t think they can be washed.
If you’re really worried about getting rid of the blood/menstrual fluid, I rec...... reply
if you scared of black magic js use menstrual cups, it's also good for environment. js but good ones, silicone ones w good quality. i personally don't use menstrual cups cuz im scaredy cat but all the women who use it around me always recommend it. watch yt videos explaining about it. reply
I'm Asian myself and I use tampons or pads depending on how heavy my flow is. Since you mentioned you're 30, I'd say it's up to you to decide how you dispose of or use your things. I wouldn't want my family telling me how to throw away my pads. The best thing to do is roll them up in something and throw them away normally, but please don't burn any...... reply
