Is fujoshi a bad title?
I only know a small bit about what a fujoshi is according to my understanding it's female fans of yaoi or bl but in comments I've seen mentioning the term fujoshi it's usually in a negative connotion or used as an insult? And I don't really understand why , can anyone fill me in?
Technically it is a bad title, it was originally conceived as an insult to girls who fetishize gay rs, which is also what yaoi was originally all about, but the genre has improved since then and has generated better works which received this new wave of audience who just calls themselves the same term coz that was how the og fans were called.
