Arrested authors for boy’s love

I think i saw a thread yesterday but I did NOT see it through until today when I read a FB post about it. Broo, what do you mean 30 authors were arrested and some going for 10 years in prison ( 10 YEARS???) for writing boy’s love. ITS FICTION, ITS A BOOK. I just can't fucking believe my eyes and the audacity. OMFG

And WORSE, these authors were publicly arrested and subjected to humiliating treatment which I can only imagine how they were treated.

Why is this the saddest thing ever. It’s so so saddening and maddening and it’s so fucked up. Im gonna kms.
