are yall also starting to skip smut chapters
nowadays when I'm reading longer works and there is like 3 consecutive chapters of smut I deadass lose focus and interest like where is the plot however omg when there is a build up I will eat that shit up but if it's like once every 4 chapters? they're all getting skipped like I'm sorry..
Yes but is bc i actually detest authors nowadays bc they choose to draw smut yet they dont rlly know how to play it out so they just show them getting started at the end of one chapter than skipped to the next day in the next. Like at this point I just treat them like a fucking "all ages"

smut chapters are lowk a snooze fest for me bruh ofc i dont hate it or anything!!... but im still gonna scroll through them as fast as i can, only pausing for like dialouge or important things reply
no like thats so understandable. there are multiple works that I initially read for the smut but stayed for the plot (like Mr A’s thingy). When the smut and story be too good, you just gotta hang on for life reply
I'm right there with you queen, gone are the days where we had good stories with a decent plot line and the characters just fuck sometimes nowadays we get porn with crumbs of an idea or a concept of a plot and I'm simply turned off by all the fucking It's so bland and unprovoking just thrusting and busting reply
these days i just skim through and read the dialogue esp when im really invested in the story itself, i get tired of gratuitous smut quickly and only really focus if theres a major plot point in it (love confession, relationship/dynamic change, etc). I find that i do this less with mangas, I guess because mangas are shorter and more to the point wh...... reply
