Rage baiting
Do u think almost all authors are rage baiting these days by creating a plot like some ass misunderstanding which was not even a misunderstanding which could have cleared by just talking one time yet they write their whole plot around and then solve non existent issues to push forward the plot
Honestly, authors suck at writing. Every misunderstanding and issue that can be solved easily is introduced so that the characters can fuck, period. reply
The real rage bait is when authors upload once every two weeks, the misunderstanding feels like it's forever so youd think itd be solved soon but it's only been a few chapters reply
pretty sure it's an intentional marketing and editorial strategy to come up with the most mind-numbingly infuriating (or just irritating) plotlines along similar formulas to hook (ideally, paying) readers. low effort and risk, high reward. anger is a very effective emotional chord to play for driving continued engagement with a thing, as we can all...... 1 reply
Yes authors do shit to purposely make you mad cuz honestly that's just how writing it whether it's good or bad. That's why you'll see the most ridiculous misunderstanding ever known to man like oh yeah your girl who has been nice to everyone for like years suddenly will send emails to her co workers and YOU that she hates y'all (actual plot) and oh...... 1 reply
