Toxic fans

I think I’ve spent around five years browsing this site,
which for many people is a comfort zone—just like it has been for me.

But recently, I’ve noticed that some people, when they disagree with you over a character, a chapter, or even the ending of a manga or manhwa, resort to cheap ways to annoy you.
It has gone too far.

It’s not like I truly care, honestly,
but I wanted this place to remain clean—a comfortable space for everyone.

If someone is struggling mentally or dealing with personal issues, they should seek help from a professional, not project their problems and bad behavior onto others.

Downvoting, mockery, insults, even false accusations and playing the victim—this has become annoying. Sometimes it’s so ridiculous that you can’t help but wonder: “Are they even serious?”

One of the webtoons I was following, which revolved around a love triangle, has ended.
For the first time, my favorite character was the endgame
I was genuinely happy about that.

After so many of my favorite characters who didn’t end up being endgame —
like Canis in Yours to Claim,
and K in Love or Hate—
I always accepted the author’s decision with an open mind.
It’s their story, their work. All I can do is accept it and hope for a better ending for my favorite characters.

“Second male lead syndrome” followed me for years,
yet I never insulted an author, nor disrespected fans of the winning character.
Because I respect the author’s choices, and I respect people’s preferences.

But I’ve come to realize that not everyone is like that.

Here they are, attacking the author simply because their favorite character wasn’t chosen as the endgame.
They cross the line with other fans as well.

I don’t know—is it immaturity?
Or are they just so ugly inside that they resort to verbally attacking others over fictional stories?

Acceptance takes time, yes.
But refusing to accept, attacking others, belittling them, and even going as far as insulting the MC just because he didn't chose your favorite character —that’s simply ridiculous.

I hope they realize how ugly that behavior is,
and at least apologize to the author, and try to accept the ending as it is.
You can criticize—but do it constructively, not through insults.

I hope this place remains a safe and comfortable space for everyone.
Let’s show some respect to others.

Stop misdirecting your anger—take it somewhere else.
You can’t change the ending, no matter what you do.

Let’s be happy for the one who won,
and wish the best for the one who didn’t.

Don’t embarrass yourselves—or your favorite characters—with such barbaric behavior.

Grow up a little.
