Virginity test

My friend’s fiancé asked her to undergo a “virginity test” to prove her virginity, even though she is actually a virgin, and that upset her a lot. Meanwhile, he has had previous relationships, but there is no way to prove that, as there is no virginity test for men. Despite how awful and toxic this relationship is, she continues in it.

Is this normal?
