Is this a prank idfk what to do pls advise

I’m the newest in a friend group and a few days ago a girl took me aside while we were doing dishes and asked me if I have a crush on this one guy. I lowkey was so nonchalant and didnt even flinch I dont know how, but I just said he seems nice but I don’t know him well enough to see any of his red flags yet.
She said "heh… u aren’t gonna find any, ive known him since I was born and we grew up together. He doesnt have any red flags." (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

THATS EVEN WORSE, that means if i WERE to date him ID be the problem and thats embarrassing
And she said "a while back" when neither of us were there, 5/8 people in the friend group were having a discussion and came to the conclusion that the guy definitely acts differently around me than other people, but it’s hard to tell bc he’s the kind of person that’s nice and helpful to everyone

Anyway i realized in hindsight that everyone else must’ve been seeing the signs except me since the very start judging by the weird questions theyd been asking me that i had thought were just random it’s been 3 days but the potential implications are only just setting in, I’ve never had to seriously consider whether or not I would date a guy before I’m wiggig out
