Very unpopular opinion: local are ruining fandom space
They genuinely hate on the most basic fandom behaviors. For example, they hate on cosplay, fan art, shipping, fan fiction, etc., saying that it’s 'cringe,' shouldn't be normalized, and that 'those things ruin the fandom.' THOSE THING LITERALLY BUILT THE FANDOM If you don't enjoy this type of content, there’s nothing wrong with that, but there is no need to hate on people for it. Pardon some people for enjoying things other than power scaling and phonk edits.
100% agree. The amount of hate I see for people being themselves in fandom spaces irritates me to my core because that's literally the point. They're really just following the trend of being a "weird kid" and liking nerdy shit cuz it's mainstream now. reply
