Do y'all think the authors are aware of the bs in fandoms?

Talking about anime fandoms specifically, I'm honestly wondering if they know how crazy and toxic their fandom is. I'm wondering if they're aware of how their characters get tiwnkified. I know some of them do interact with their fandom but I wonder if they see those TikToks of Cosplayers roleplaying giving birth or whatever rainbow dash jar thing may be going on.
