Writing things down by hand specifically, and saying things over and over is the best way but I have a game
if you have like a list of questions to answer you can set a timer for x seconds, try to solve before the timer goes off and if you win you can take one small bite of something but if you don't get the answer before the timer you don't get a...... reply
