Y'alls opinion on Sabrina Carpenter?
What do you guys think of the "feminism" Sabrina Carpenter promotes?
One where it confuses you on whether she likes men or hates them. One where she mocks trad wives or just wants to be one (the Man's Best Friend album). I don't consume pop music or Sabrina Carpenter music. I just know bits and pieces from here and there. So I don't have an opinion. However I'm trying to make an opinion without consuming her content. I surely don't like her take on feminism, but I might change that if she's actually doing something for the movement. I also saw some posts of her Cochella thing where she said she doesn't like a cultural whistle that a woman in the audience was making..... So what do y'all think?
I don't think she is promoting feminism, I think she's just talking about her reality in her songs.

People just love hating female pop artists for any smallest reason without context. I find it strange that she gets hate for liking men like lmao she’s straight as a line it’s obvious she’s like them, but it doesn’t make her any less of feminist because of that. i don't like her "feminism", although i do think she's very pretty. watch @shanspere 's video essay on heteropessimism, it made all things click so well for me. reply
I dont really have a lot to say about her since im not a fan nor listen to her music but i do find her weird at that time where she did the lolita photo since we know what kind of movie lolita is, even the actor of lolita responded to the photoshoot that she did and as for the whistle she was straight up just being disrespectfull calling it weird a...... 1 reply
