Hey guys, can you recommend any good movies?
No rom-coms, splatter horror movies, or pure action stuff. Just something that keeps you hooked from start to finish. I’d love something with plot twists… I also like movies that are visually stunning. Less well-known titles or short films are also very welcome!
Spoorloos (1988) - psychological thriller, there have been remakes but the original is the best at creating that dreadful atmosphere and intrigue it is known for.
A short film about love (1988) - it's so craftful, and emotionally intelligent in the most understated way, it feels alive. It's not Kieslowski's best as per the critics but fuck em, it...... reply
