Why did world ever say that women are more emotional than men and men are more logical?
Also saying that logic > emotions. Why? Just Why? How does anybody benefit from that being decided? I'm so annoyed thinking about this after watching this one feminist vs anti feminist debate on YouTube people started bringing up how women are "too emotional", that's why a man is needed. Women aren't logical like men, or just straight up aren't logical. I want to go back in time and wring the neck of the person who felt men and women should be characterized like this, they should've just died or stfu!
What do you guys think of this ever being decided a thing? That women are "more emotional" and men are "more logical" as if that's a biological fact.
I think it's a societal factor. the patriarchal society tells men to be the head of the family, aka they have to be more "strong". I don't exactly know where the notion of showing emotion (specifically crying) = weak / immature came from but that is what boys and girls from a young age are told.
There's also the notion that if you aren't thinking ...... reply
