Plot lines vent specifically SA and rape
sorry this is just a little rant but i am genuinely so fucking tired of seeing SA and rape for plot lines that don’t even need it. i understand that there may be tags which warn about those things because it helps further develop a story (and to each their own who like that) but i just don’t understand why authors add rape and SA when it literally does NOTHING to their story. i’ve had to drop so many stories because of the no consent and it leading to SA and rape when it literally isn’t even necessary. but yeah i just don’t understand what the point of doing that it

I dont understand the appeal behind it likee if it's well written and doesn't glorify it that's okay cause you should have awareness of these things you should be horrified this exists but literal rapeslop?
