i just graduated high school and my parents want to charge me for living in the house and for eating at home. i don’t have a job so i don’t have income. i feel like this is super unreasonable but they won’t change their mind. should i just stay with my friend instead of living here?
I don’t think it’s unreasonable. When you’re an adult, you should be able to get a job and pay for yourself. Not saying you have to be working a super high paying job, and living on your own is pretty hard in this economy, but being able to hold a job and not be a bum is something you should do when you’re an adult.
