i just graduated high school and my parents want to charge me for living in the house and for eating at home. i don’t have a job so i don’t have income. i feel like this is super unreasonable but they won’t change their mind. should i just stay with my friend instead of living here?
My parents made me pay for my studies and pay for rent too; it didn't teach me anything I didn't know already and only made me resent them. Getting a job was a good thing, making me get one because they didn't leave me any other choice and I had no say in it wasn't. It's the opposite of treating you like an adult BTW.
