i just graduated high school and my parents want to charge me for living in the house and for eating at home. i don’t have a job so i don’t have income. i feel like this is super unreasonable but they won’t change their mind. should i just stay with my friend instead of living here?
Your parents are going overboard and are being completely unreasonable. They are treating parent-child bond as transactional, as if the entire world out there doesn't expect monetary transaction for your existence. Bringing that capitalist mentality home, ugh.
