Do BL characters not have friends

Why is it that in a BL it be like
ML: *Kisses MC*
MC: ahh why’d you do that
ML: isn’t it normal between friends?
MC: oh is it… then okay, you can fuck me in the butthole.
This stupid ass plot line always ends up with them later realising they like each other. Like everything beforehand was fucking normal.
Friends being fuck buddies ain’t need to be normalised gang
