Have y'all been baptized?
Ok so like a week ago I almost got baptized but didn't cuz I'm not ready yet and ik for a fact that if I do I'll stay the same anyways, the only reason why I almost got it is because my mom forced me but when we arrived at the place where we were gonna get baptized I change my mind and didn't get one. Now I have a question for the people here who got baptized what does it feel like? Did y'all really got closer to God or not?
From what I have studied, Catholics baptise infants because of 2 main reasons. One is to consecrate the child to God and give the child a foundation and somewhere he will always belong, the faith and the Kingdom of Heaven.
