Y'alls opinion on Thai BL
What do you think about Thai BLs? For me they lowk feel corny. They just feel like hetero romance except both of them are guys. No hate towards people who like them. I just think I have higher expectations from BL. Also can you guys recommend me BL series that's not cringe. Cuz I want to watch BL series, but I feel like I don't find them good enough to dedicate my time to.
i like them. it's nice watching queer media where the focus isn't about them being queer—some of the time. kinda like i'm just watching two people fall in love and being dumb and cringe and like we're 'normal' like the hets TT

They been the og when I was young and didn't have any bl stuff to consume but current me wouldn't watch any thai bls like its too corny yfm? But I still would give them credit for being there when there was no yaoi content to consume reply
I think I like Thai bls especially gmmtv bls specifically because they are so corny, western bls they always make queer shows a tragedy, there's all this trauma, society expectations but in bls and certain manhwas you get to see people fall in love and they just happen to be gay or like men, like the fantasy of that is so cute.

Semantic Error was really good. The chemistry and the acting isn’t forced.
I watched Ballboy Tactics but the celebrity for Jiwon (uke) is kind of bad in acting but Jungwoo’s actor is really good even the side characters .

I've binged pretty much all there were a year and a half ago. Since which the industry grew so much (THANK GOD THEY LEFT ENGENEERS ALONE) and a lot of new stuff came out. I haven't watched any in a few months, but plan to check out something new soon.
