Interesting concepts for stories?
What are some concepts, tropes or whatever you wanna see in stories because you think they're interesting? Personally i enjoy fucked up family relationship specifically codependency and emotional incest, i find it such an interesting concept especially in regards to the patriarchy like how fathers and brothers are obsessed with the virginity of their daughters and sisters, it's so obviously incestuous but it's normalized because of misogyny. I find it interesting and I wish there were stories that explored this that aren't made by weirdos obviously into straight up incest I like twisted dynamics when they're well written and trying to actually explore themes and say something.
Yuri where they do not like each other at first, fight with their attraction, attempt to suppress each other, and eventually fall in love (i.e. On a Leash; Opium)

I like stories based on death of a partner, but I wish they would show their story first more....then not sudden death, like illness that taxes both persons and all the angst that goes with that scenario and while caregiving to other, the one person starts to cheat and ...(and maybe he doesn't die and takes revenge later or maybe the one's who's si...... reply
I really like stories that give a genuine reason for why someone cannot properly explain what is happening and their only response being, “idk” is valid. Like in Annihilation, the Fml’s husband comes back from war and he cant explain anything to her like how/ when he got back and what happened while he was away, then the fml goes to the place...... reply
